The successful Purchasing Assistant is quality driven and detail-oriented. This role assists the Purchasing Manager with daily project administrative tasks so that she can spend her time on operations and strategic development with an aim towards resolving current and future order issues. The Purchasing Assistant compiles and sends purchase orders after the Purchasing Manager reviews and approves. This role verifies orders that are received by vendors and processed. The Purchasing Assistant compiles acknowledgments for Purchasing Manager’s review and actively manages all administrative tasks to assist the Purchasing Manager.
