April 4, 2018
June 5 of this year will mark the 15th anniversary of the founding of StudioSIX5. We’re marking this important milestone with a new logo, icon, corporate identity—and this new website.
We hope you enjoy the new look. We’ve tried to make this website more attractive, easier to navigate, faster to load and a more engaging experience overall. We have reorganized our portfolio to present our project types in relevant categories. We’ve added a promotional video and a recruitment video and this is the new blog we’ll be updating monthly.
I want this blog to feature meaningful, useful observations of interest to those of us in the senior living mindscape. The senior living industry is evolving, facing and solving new challenges. We look constantly at new technologies that may enable us to improve resident care and socialization, and new approaches to retaining caregivers and staff, whether it’s through improved environments or tools to help them in their daily tasks.
We’ll look at new financial models when they arise, to assist our clients, both not-for-profit and for-profit, to determine if they could contribute to the success of their communities.
Our mission, in everything we do, is to improve the lives of seniors. We aim to create environments that celebrate life, supporting the joyful, meaningful and dignified lives of residents. And over the years we’ve learned that the communities we design are for all generations—the seniors, their children, grandchildren and more. We want our communities to be spaces that are welcoming and appealing to all ages.
In the coming weeks, we’ll inform you of how we intend to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We want you to know that we appreciate and cherish the relationships we’ve built over these 15 years, with our clients, with our valued StudioSIX5 team, with our project team consultants, with our vendors, and yes, with the seniors who live in the communities we design.
We look forward to the next 15 years and more. We love what we do, and we have a lot of fun doing it!
